“I love Loyale! I wear their tops a lot, and they have great everyday pieces, which I just adore. Bahar Shahpar has beautiful skirts and dresses. Other labels I like are Organic by John Patrick (another great label for everyday pieces), Linda Loudermilk (the mother of green design can be very inventive), and EcoSkin for casual dresses.  For shoes, I love Beyond Skin, they have a wonderfully huge selection of shoes, I specifically love the vintage-y looking pieces. Olsenhaus is a new line I’m just loving. I’m obsessed with the holographic shoes! And then of course, Stella McCartney is the first big designer not to use leather. Her shoes are expensive but so worth it. They’re very well-made. Also, Cri de Coeur makes some great boots.”

Gabe Saporta can now proudly tell mom he’s one of the sexiest vegetarians alive.

The singer won in the PETA2 male category, with House star Olivia Wilde taking the female win for both PETA2 and PETA.

Last year, Saporta had Tweeted about not winning after being nominated for several years in a row:

“i can’t believe i lost sexiest veggie 3 years in a row! what a horrible disappointment. what ever will i tell my mom?”

Mom Saporta should be proud to have a son who takes a stance against animal cruelty by not only publicly acknowledging his vegetarian diet, but urging fans to avoid fur too.

The Dancing with the Stars competitor is said to get excited about the prospect of producing her own organic eggs and enlists the help of some Amish neighbors to help her build a chicken coop.

Good for Kate being a local farmer, but will her eggs really be organic? Is it even possible to define what the heck an organic egg is?

LONDON, ENGLAND - MAY 24: Chef Jamie Oliver attends the Press & VIP preview at The Chelsea Flower Show at Royal Hospital Chelsea on May 24, 2010 in London, England. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images)

Jamie Oliver is applauding Washington, D.C. schools for their decision to phase out flavored milk in school lunches by the end of this year.

According to Organic Authority, flavored milks, such as strawberry and chocolate, may contain as much corn syrup as a can of cola. Other states likes Florida may also be considering such a ban.

In a video, Oliver discusses the decision D.C. schools made to limit sugar in children’s meals, in his “Food Revolution News and Update.”

If you kept track of Oliver’s Food Revolution show months earlier where he attempted to transform one of the unhealthiest cities in the United States by teaching them to cook and choose ingredients wisely, you might remember Jamie’s outcry over the West Virginia school’s decision to keep strawberry milk on the menu after he had ordered only plain milk to be served.

Great job, D.C. schools! Now let’s keep up this progressive movement by offering non-dairy beverage equivalents like soy milk for children who are vegan or lactose intolerant.
