His story is proof of what diet can do for your health, as this former regular consumer of fast-food was urged by a physician to go on high-blood pressure medication before even graduating high school.

Kellie Pickler is one of several vegetarian women who’ve been placed on Maxim‘s Hot 100 list for 2012.

Pickler finished six in the fifth season of American Idol and Maxim chose to chide the country for not voting her performance on the show as “hotter.”

“Seriously, America: You chose Taylor Hicks over Kellie on Season 5 of American Idol? We’re moving to France.”
