Pamela Anderson Banned Ad Looks Really Milky (Video)

Written by Vegetarian Star on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010 in Actresses, Food & Drink, Videos.

An advertisement for an Australian based Internet company featuring Pamela Anderson has been banned by Australia’s Advertising Standards Bureau.

The ad features Anderson talking to a male co-worker when suddenly the male co-worker starts to fantasize about Pamela and another woman drenched in milk.

Supervegan questioned Pamela for starring in an ad containing dairy, given the fact she is such an staunch animal rights advocate.

However, Pamela could have requested soy milk or she may very well have a body double.

Take a look and decide for yourself.

Are these two hot women being covered with phytoestrogen juice?

Pamela Anderson steps out on to the runway in the A*MUSE by Richie Rich fall fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York

“I think PETA is very positive and has accentuated my image. It doesn’t matter if It’s good or bad if it gets people talking and caring about important things. It’s a “now that I have your attention” kind of thing. (PETA) are smart, funny, good-hearted people who love animals.”

—-Pamela Anderson, during an interview on how working with the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals affects her image.

Something about Pamela definitely grabs your attention. Whether or not it’s her conversation on animal issues has yet to be determined.

Vegetarian Pamela Anderson Going Dancing With The Stars

Written by Vegetarian Star on Friday, February 5th, 2010 in Actresses, Reality TV.

6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards

Pamela Anderson has just signed on to compete in the reality TV show Dancing with the Stars.

A source told Radar Online, “Pam is thrilled and so is the show.”

“She really wanted to do the show and the show thought it was a great idea,” the source added.

Is Pamela looking to imitate vegan Heather Mills, who’s dancing on ice this season on an equally popular UK celebrity reality television show?

It’s almost certain that the vegetarian Pamela will request cruelty-free costumes–no leather, fur or wool.

Fellow competitors should also expect some PETA pamphlets left in their dressing rooms.

Antony Worrall Thompson, Pamela Anderson 2009 Quotes

Written by Vegetarian Star on Friday, January 1st, 2010 in Actresses, Chefs, Food & Drink.

Celebrity Chefs Launch Taste Of London 2007

2009 was a year of memorable quotes, so says the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, which has compiled its list of great celebrity verbiage of the year.

There are some quotes, however, that are worth forgetting, like one made by chef Antony Worrall Thompson when he attacked Paul McCartney’s Meat Free Monday campaign.

“I am sure vegetarians must also account for a lot of gases. Look how many beans they eat.”

Ha, haaaaaa. Be sure to put him in the category of chefs you really love like Hezbollah vegan hating Anthony Bourdain.

Pamela Anderson wanted you to know she is now a Rembrandt.

“Yesterday, I was considered soft porn, but today I am art.”

Does that mean the art history students of the next century will be studying and critiquing the Lettuce Ladies ads?

Ellen DeGeneres PETA Woman Of The Year

Written by Vegetarian Star on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 in TV Hosts.

23rd Annual Genesis Awards - Press Room

2009 must be the year for vegan Ellen DeGeneres because she’s already nabbed 2 Best of Veggie Awards and it’s not even New Year’s Eve yet.

Her recent commitment to veganism pushed her into the Top 10 Veg Stories of the Decade by VegNews.

Now, Ellen has been named Woman of the Year by PETA.

“She made vegan pizza with Chef Wolfgang Puck, spoke with Dr. Neal Barnard about the health benefits of a vegan diet, and just in time for Thanksgiving, “talked turkey” about the everyday abuse of animals on factory farms with Jonathan Safran Foer, author of Eating Animals. Ellen also created pages on her Web site that feature insight, info, and tips about cruelty-free living. Visitors can find recipes, read about why Ellen went vegan, learn where to shop, and more.”

Let’s not forgot she shared her personal chef, Roberto Martin, on national television as he taught her fans to cook vegan pot pie and roast, hosted fellow veg Pamela Anderson to discuss the launch of her eco friendly perfume and received an award from the Humane Society of the United States.

What’s on Ellen’s goals for 2010 and the next decade?

Hopefully, getting Simon Cowell and the other American Idol judges to eat vegan tacos every week.

Ted Nugent Hunts Pamela Anderson, Paul McCartney

Written by Vegetarian Star on Monday, December 28th, 2009 in Male Musicians, Male Singers, Not So Vegetarian.

Ted Nugent Inducted Into The National Bowhunters Hall Of Fame

Every time a vegetarian celebrity opens its mouth, another deer dies.

At least that’s how Ted Nugent wants it.

The musician who’s made it clear in the past he’s not a friend of vegetarians or animal rights activists recently expressed his discontent over those who find fault with one of his favorite sports of hunting.

And warning: he’s not too rated G about it either.

“Pam Anderson… if you get the d**k out of your mouth for two minutes, you’re telling me I can’t eat venison? You don’t authorize venison?”

“My name is Ted Nugent and because of Pam Anderson… and because of Paul McCartney, all the members of PETA, whenever I hear the word animal or rights in the same paragraph, I’m killing an extra hundred of something this year.”

Nugent insists he doesn’t let any of his game go to waste.

“I’m not just killing them, I’m f**king slaughtering them and I’m going to gut them and skin them, quarter them and butcher them and feed them to the soup kitchens and homeless shelters of America… That’s my goal in life.”

Paul McCartney may be the object of Nugent’s hatred this time, but last year he was willing to buy him a vegetarian meal.

After Paul received threats for agreeing to play in Tel Aviv, Nugent told the press, “It would be my pleasure to keep this legendary musical hero safe from terrorists and madmen, and then buy him a nice dinner of tofu.”

It’s time to buy Pamela some tempeh to make up for that oh not so nice statement.

Two famous vegs really want to change the way government is ran.

Okay, so one is already in politics and the other is just a wannabe.

If Dennis Kucinich had his way, everyone would be forced to eat vegan brownies.

Pamela Anderson would be a little less militant, just calling for a Be A Veggie For A Day campaign and letting her constituents choose which plant based items to eat.

Hmm…bet most people would choose to eat brownies but…who would you rather do…
