Sam Simon and Pamela Anderson visited officials of the Canadian sealers to give them an offer to help with the government buyout of the industry.

The terminally ill creator of the popular cartoon The Simpsons and the Canadian born former Baywatch actress visited St. John’s, Newfoundland to make the in-person offer Simon made in a letter addressed to the organization.

Sam Simon, co-creator of the long-running Fox cartoon The Simpsons, has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and has made the decision to donate his remaining wealth to charity.

Some of the groups that will receive a portion of what has been called “tens of millions” of dollars include those that serve plant-based food to the needy and animal welfare groups.

Sam Simon is a philanthropist who’s also donated his talents to some pretty popular sitcoms, his credits including co-creating “The Simpsons” and co-producing “The Drew Carey Show,” “The George Carlin Show,” “The Tracey Ullman Show,” “Cheers” and “Taxi.”

One of this vegetarian’s charities include The Sam Simon Foundation, which offers free spay and neutering services and operations on sick dogs. It also places animals from shelters in LA to retirement homes and also trains dogs to assist the hearing impaired.
