Not long after debuting her anti-fur PETA ad, Bethenny Frankel has released another cookbook, titled The Skinnygirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life.

Not afraid to be the omnivore who admits to loving and even promoting meatless food, Bethenny has given advice on how to make many of her dishes vegetarians.

The Skinnygirl Dish is divided into three parts.

First, Bethenny gives readers the advice needed to become a master chef in the kitchen. The Real Housewives of New York City star emphasizes making use of what you have, substituting when necessary and utilizing everyday stores like Cosco for ingredients.

Second comes the recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks and desserts.

Finally, there is a chapter on entertaining guest once you’ve mastered mashed sweet potatoes and red velvet cupcakes.

Celebrity Big Brother - Celebrities Enter The House

This season’s Celebrity Big Brother received a thumbs down for furnishing the house with fur rugs and leather couches.

But on a recent episode of the show, the residents were turned into senior citizens in the Last Legs Old People’s Home and given the task of completing an obstacle course called the Klapped Out Factor, based on the quiz show, The Krypton Factor.

One part of the challenge was a “bobbing for apples” like task, where contestants had to grab dumplings from a bowl of stew.

The dumplings were said to be vegetarian.

Heidi Fleiss got a compliment from Sisqo on a job well done, even though she broke the bowl trying so hard.

Michelle Obama and local students harvest the White House kitchen garden in Washington

Could Michelle Obama‘s desire to return to healthy eating and eat local inspire African Americans to do the same?

According to Dr. Shemuel Israel, President of the North Lawndale Greening Committee on Chicago’s West Side, the answer is yes.

Dr. Israel thinks the First Family’s garden is partially responsible for the increased interest and hopes the trend continues.

“We do a lot, but there’s more work to be done to teach people to grow their own food,” he said, according to Chicago Now.

With Mrs. Obama’s influence and African Americans like John Salley and Forest Whitaker encouraging African Americans to improve their diets by eating vegetarian, Dr. Israel might see the fruits of his labor sooner than later.

Kim Kardashian dines out at Katsuya in Hollywood

Kim Kardashian is reportedly making her appearances in faux fur by H & M, according to Nitrolicious.

Hopefully, these rumors are true.

A year ago, Kim ditched her real fur vests after then boyfriend Reggie Bush said it was embarassing to be approached by anti-fur activists.

Then she and Reggie broke up. And got back together. And broke up. And then everyone decided their status wasn’t worth keeping tract of.

Instead of a lifetime and happiness for Kim and Reggie, a more reasonable wish is that Kim keeps playing the role of phony furry.
