Anthony Bourdain took his CNN food show Parts Unknown to the Middle East to take part in the dishes that have made up the rich culture for centuries.
Bourdain made several stops in Israel and Palestine that had the usual vegan-hating chef sampling vegetarian dishes that made him forget he loved meat.
He spoke with food writer and cookbook author Yotam Ottolenghi about the origins of Middle Eastern falafel.
The radio show host has successfully undergone surgery and chemo treatments and her doctors have given her the “all clear” sign that she is healthy and ready to go.
Although vegetarian and vegan diets may help prevent the growth of cancerous tumors, there’s no evidence a miracle food exists to cure or stave it away.
So while drinking Robin’s Green Drink won’t guarantee a life free from disease, it can give you increased energy, fiber, nutrients and other goodies to help you stay energetic and healthy enough to monitor your health regularly so that you can catch anything in its early stages like Robin did.

Natalie Portman will be relocating to Paris, France with her husband Benjamin Millepied and their two-year-old son, Aleph. The European city is known for its beauty and romance and is probably a dream for anyone, but Portman is concerned about being able to maintain her vegetarian/vegan diet.
In L.A., she has no problem finding good vegetarian food and she’s grown accustomed to the convenience.

Fiona Apple has lent her voice to a new commercial for The Scarecrow, a short animated film that accompanies a new Chipotle Mexican Grill app-based game that explores the negative consequences of factory farming.
Apple sings the famous song “Pure Imagination” while cartoon farmers and corporate leaders go about their day to day activities with animals.
The goal of the game is to help the scarecrow fight the evil Crow Foods and its plan to monopolize the food chain.
