Selena Gomez has decided to edit footage in the video for her hit song, “Love You Like a Long Song,” so that it does not show the controversial horse painted with pink dye.

Animal rights activists were outraged after seeing preview clips of the video and singer Pink even Tweeted her disapproval.

“Stolen for Fashion”—Learn More at PETA.org.

An anti-fur ad voiced by singer Pink and actor/comedian Ricky Gervais has won a prestigious award in an advertising competition.

Stolen for Fashion took home the gold medal at the Addy Awards, the largest competition for advertisements.

In the video, the singer and actor play animals who take their skins back from people wearing them as coats and handbags.

Thriller Jacket

Michael Jackson‘s famous red jacket worn during his 1983 “Thriller” video is up for auction, the proceeds benefiting the big cat sanctuary where the two tigers he once owned, Thriller and Shambu, reside.

The items is among several hundred others up for grabs during the Music Icons Auction hosted by Julien’s Auctions that takes place during the month of June.

Chantelle Houghton Gets Striped To Ban Wild Animals In Circuses

As a former Celebrity Big Brother star, Chantelle Hougtons been a reality TV actress under the microscope and knows it’s not always fame and glory. Maybe that’s why she wants wild animals who are watched by thousands every year in circuses in the UK to get a break from the life of fame and retire peacefully in a sanctuary or be left in the jungle.

Houghton recently posed on the streets of London to protest a failure of the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to  ban circus animals, despite most groups that were consulted on the decision being in favor of such a ban, including the British Veterinary Association.

Bob Barker Says Stay Away From SeaWorld In Ad (Video)

Bob Barker is almost 90 years old, but shows no signs of “retiring” from his role of animal activist. His latest campaign is an advertisement urging people to boycott SeaWorld for its practice of keeping dolphins in captivity.

The ad will be aired on telelvision during broadcasts of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.

“Zuckerberg is known for taking on personal challenges, and he believes people “should take responsibility and be thankful for what they eat rather than trying to ignore where it came from.” Zuckerberg deserves credit for getting at least halfway through a mental lesson most people never bother to start. A new personal challenge could be for him to take this thought process to its logical conclusion, and to then act.”

“Zuckerberg is right. People don’t want to know the truth about the suffering and death that goes into their meat.”
