Justin Bieber Not Happy About New Vegan Diet

Written by Vegetarian Star on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 in Food & Drink, Male Singers, Not So Vegetarian.

600-JustinBieber-ad

Justin Bieber was urged by fellow R&B singer Usher to adopt a vegan diet.

It appears that Bieber conceded, but is playing passive-aggressive about it and grossing everyone out at the same time.

Instead of letting everyone know how delicious his tofu stir-fry and seitan burger are, Bieber has repeatedly made vomit noises when his food arrives and can’t find anything nice to say about it.

Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions and fans have one more vegetarian option to chew down on at halftime.

Ford Field has invited Detroit restaurant Slows BBQ to the Lions’ home turf to offer several of its gourmet sandwiches that will be prepared fresh at its own concession stand.

BBQ still means chicken, pork and brisket–especially in the midwest–but Slows isn’t slow at all when it comes to knowing Lions have veggie fans in the audience.

Pamela Anderson Voted Off “Dancing With The Stars” (Video)

Written by Vegetarian Star on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 in Actresses, Film & TV, Videos.

A vegetarian diet is all she needed to dance her heart out on Dancing with the Stars, but it wasn’t enough to save Pamela Anderson from being voted off.

The actress, longtime vegetarian and animal rights activists got the boot recently, first celebrity to be eliminated in the show’s 15 season, leaving her partner singer Drew Lachey, behind.

And there were so many episodes left to promote “Go Veg.” Sigh.

Anderson is quite active in the vegetarian and animal rights movement, posing in several ads for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and campaigning to end annual seal hunts around the world, especially in her country of birth, Canada.

Watch Pamela dancing her debut dance in the clip above.

Morrissey

Morrissey said he’d consider consuming his genitals before getting back with The Smiths’ band member Johnny Marr for a reunion.

“I’d rather eat my own testicles than reform The Smiths – and that’s saying something coming from a vegetarian,” the Meat is Murder singer said.

Now Morrissey has an even better offer that would allow him to avoid eating flesh, stay vegetarian and turn the entire Coachella event in Indio, California meatless too.
