Life After Top Chef - Season 1

At first mention, Life After Top Chef sounds like a knock-off of a celebrity reality TV show where 80s and 90s one-hit-wonders, teen heartthrobs and the likes attempt one more shot of fame before finally losing their complete hairlines.

But it’s actually an exciting series from Bravo featuring Top Chef‘s big names that are already doing quite well like Fabio Viviani, Richard Blais, Spike Mendelsohn and Jennifer Carroll, who’s opening the vegetarian-friendly Concrete Blonde in New York City’s West Village.

“Gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free. What are they made out of? Sand?” he asks.

The actress, longtime vegetarian and animal rights activists got the boot recently, first celebrity to be eliminated in the show’s 15 season, leaving her partner singer Drew Lachey, behind.

And there were so many episodes left to promote “Go Veg.” Sigh.

Anderson is quite active in the vegetarian and animal rights movement, posing in several ads for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and campaigning to end annual seal hunts around the world, especially in her country of birth, Canada.

Written by Vegetarian Star on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 in Actresses, Film & TV, Food & Drink, Videos.

Alicia Silverstone‘s latest film Vamps is set for release this November and the trailer to the film is now available.

Silverstone and Krysten Ritter play two gorgeous single ladies who live life to the fullest like any other bachelorette–bars, dating, parties, sleeping in coffins as well as the occasional vampire indulgence.

Okay. So maybe they’re not so typical singles after all.

While filming Vamps in the Detroit area,  Silverstone got the chance to sample lots of vegan goodies from shops nearby. Inn Season Cafe and What Crepe? were two places she dug her fangs into between filming.
