Mad Men‘s Kiernan Shipka is mad about a lot of things foodwise. Like NYC based vegan bakery Babycakes and the waffles founder Erin McKenna whipped up in her presence. And let’s not forget vegan reubens.

The AMC show’s actress who plays Sally, the daughter of characters Don and Betty Draper, took time off from the popular series that depicts the changing values of society to help McKenna film a video demonstrating vegan waffles.

True Blood actress Kristin Bauer has written a letter to the European Union commission, asking that it uphold a decision to ban the sale of all animal-tested cosmetics by 2013.

“No animal should suffer and die to test lipstick or eye shadow,” writes Bauer. “That’s why I’m writing to urge you to keep the European Union on the path to modern, innovative cosmetics testing. Please maintain the EU’s 2013 deadline for banning the marketing of animal-tested cosmetics.”

Poor Bar Refaeli learned a lesson when she received a letter from the former Baywatch star, scolding her for posing in a spread for Bel Air Clothing Company in real fur.

Obviously, pictures of Barton nude and appearing to enjoy uncooked steak over her face and mouth have sparked controversy.

Because little children shouldn’t be exposed to such taboos as e.coli, salmonella and animal cruelty.
