Who ever thought Billie Joe Armstrong would make it to Broadway?

The American Idiot musical portrays young adults trying to find their way through the world: one leaves to fight for his country, another escapes to the city, and another gets stuck in suburbia.

Seen here is a video of the cast singing Green Day’s “21 Guns.”

Sure hope that leopard attire on one cast member is fake, because only an American Idiot would still be wearing real fur.

Anyway, besides taking things slow and figuring out who he is, he might want to learn about how animals are killed for fashion in the fur industry cause only the bride of Frankenstein would want to snuggle up with something that looks so dead.

But his coat could be fake…

Heidi Klum was caught by the paparazzi on her way to a morning show appearance to discuss her new maternity line coming out this month, Lavish and Loved.

Supermodels have very little “insulation” to keep them warm, so it was understandable she had to wear this fuzzy looking jacket.

Sure hope that’s fake fur she’s wearing.

Being the mother of four children herself, one would think she’d have those “maternal” instincts and run far away from anything that harms any mother or child–like fur farms confining animals in cages and killing them inhumanely for fashion purposes only.

Nicole Polizzi, aka “Snooki” from Jersey Shore hung out with friends at STK in LA recently, covering up in this black furry looking coat.

If you know your Jersey Shore, you know Polizzi is an aspiring veterinary technician.

That’s why The Veg Star is hoping Snooki is already showing her concern for animals by wearing a fake fur coat.

It must be hard enough for a vet worker to put a sick or injured animal to sleep, but to know one died only for the sake of fashion?

Dr. Doolittle would be crying  his eyes out, confiding to the backyard squirrels.

Kate Hudson recently spent the day with dear ol’ mom Goldie Hawn in Aspen, Colorado.

Is this like mother, like daughter, keeping fur in the family?

Goldie looks pretty fake, but Hudson…not so sure.

You would think that after spending the evening at compassionate vegetarian designer Stella McCartney‘s store for New York’s Fashion Night Out, Hudson would have learned a thing or two.

If Kate’s fur coat is real, she’d be locked out from Night Out if Stella had anything to do with it.

Catherine will be starring in the upcoming Trevor Nunn production of A Little Night Of Music.

A Little Night Of Music is great, but a little fur trim is horrible.

If that’s a real fur Catherine’s wearing, it’s more than a trim, but The Mask of Zorro actress surely knows anyone voted one of the most beautiful people will land on the ugliest list for wearing a hide that’s not hers.

Aretha Franklin performed at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting recently all bundled up for the winter.

Voted Fugliest Fur Hag in 2008 for her critter collection, one might automatically guess the Woolly Mammoth costume Aretha wore was created from real animals who got no R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

But people change.

Could Aretha have wised up and realized that a diva of soul wearing fur is like a diva wearing the same outfit twice.
