Victoria Moran Wants To Bring Out The “Main Street Vegan” In You

Victoria Moran‘s latest book, Main Street Vegan is, from what the title hints at, all about making veganism a more mainstream movement.

Growing up in the midwest, Moran says “people confused yoga and yogurt, and both were just odd.”

Today, she hopes not only to help them distinguish between the exercise and dairy product, but teach the basic principles of incorporating the rights foods into a well-balanced animal-free diet for better health.

Besides defining “yoga” and “yogurt,” Moran has also taken the time to define what a Main Street Vegan is.

Michelle Pfeiffer Inspired By Bill Clinton’s Vegan Diet (Video)

Michelle Pfeifer was a guest on Piers Morgan Tonight where she discussed her motivation for adopting a vegan diet.

According to some sources, Pfeiffer once tried vegetarianism, then abandoned it.

Learning about Bill Clinton‘s health transformation after he gave up animal products inspired her.

“OK, Bill Clinton loves food, so there must be something to [veganism] that’s making him stick to it. And also, he’s smart, so he’s not going to do something unless he really thinks there’s some science behind it,” Pfeiffer said.

HBO will kick off a seven-week documentary series on Monday, June 18 at 9 PM ET/PST that examines the complex relationship between humans and dogs, One Nation Under Dog.

We are a nation of dog lovers, with about 43,021,000 households in the U.S. owning at least one. But we also allow several million dogs to be euthanized each year and issues like animal cruelty have not yet become extinct.

Brendan Brazier has received the International Book Award for his nutrition and vegan cookbook, Thrive Foods: 200 Plant-Based Recipes for Peak Health.

Brazier’s won in the IBA’s category of “Health: General” and was chosen by a panel of individual with various writing and editorial experience from books produced by a variety of publishers.

Oliver Stone Protests Military Use Of Animals For Training

Oliver Stone is a U.S. military veteran who, although is proud to have served his country, could be a little happier knowing it didn’t use animals for experiments that could be carried out without them.

Army officials for Fort Bragg, Carolina have planned to purchase goats for training drills that result in the animals being killed.

Oliver took some time to respond to this decision, urging the military to reconsider it.
