Talk about the wow factor!

Farm Sanctuary is hosting a celebration for its 25th anniversary and has invited some incredible star power to kick-off the occasion.

To celebrate the launch of the two star-studded, black-tie galas in New York City on May 14, and in Los Angeles on September 24, several stars will host a party this Saturday, April 23rd at the private residence of James Costa in Hollywood Hills in California.

Mike Tyson Vegan Billboard Goes Hollywood

As a legendary boxer with several heavyweight titles, Mike Tyson has always been pretty strong but he’s never been able to stop traffic.

Until now.

A vegan diet has propelled him to greater star status and Tyson can be seen on a billboard in Hollywood, California sponsored by the group Last Chance For Animals.

Although it isn’t written in 140 characters, Biz Stone‘s recipe for seitan bourguignon has finally been posted to Martha Stewart‘s website.

Biz stopped by to demonstrate making seitan for Martha’s special vegan episode, which was a hit among meat eaters and vegetarians.

Yotam Ottolenghi Gives “Plenty” Of Reasons To Like Vegetables

Yotam Ottolenghi gave vegetarians and vegans “plenty” of reasons to dislike him when he decided to redefine vegetarian, saying it was okay to eat fish and there were “no hard core boundaries anymore.”

His latest cookbook, Plenty, doesn’t appear to be competing with Webster’s by changing the definition of vegetarian, and is filled with 120 recipes organized by vegetable.

BabyCakes Covers The Classics

Vegan chefs will take over the stage at the annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Cooking taking place April 30 and May 1 on the campus of the University of Southern California.

The 16 year festival is one of the largest literary events in the country, attracting 150,000 people, including 100 author events and more than 350 authors from around the world.

Glenn Beck knows McDonald’s Hamburglers steal more than lunch. That’s why he called Al Gore out for carrying the title of both environmentalist and meat eater.

So it’s no surprise he’s still going strong after embarking on the diet he, a couple of months ago, called a “vegan nightmare.”

According to the Chicago Tribune, Beck revealed to a crowd at the Chicago Theatre he’s gone vegan for health reasons.
