Joan Jett Trades Rancher Float For Another In Macy’s Parade

South Dakota ranchers have gotten their way for now.

Legendary rocker Joan Jett was removed from the state’s float which will travel in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

Being the woman with endless energy from her plant-based diet, she’s already sprung back and has already found another ride.

“I’ve decided to switch from South Dakota to another float because people’s political agendas were getting in the way of what should be a purely entertainment driven event,” Jett said.

Some in South Dakota think so.

Joan Jett was chosen by representative’s of the state’s tourism industry to be on the Mount Rushmore American Pride float in the annual holiday parade.

Members of the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association think the decision is plain fowl.

The pop singer and musician who drew some fame and controversy for wearing several meaty outfits, including the one she wore to the MTV Music Awards, has put on a simple and revealing moss costume to promote her new single, “Do What U Want.”

She’s looking better than ever.

Green really is her color.

And it’s much more refreshing than dead flesh.

Fiona Apple has lent her voice to a new commercial for The Scarecrow, a short animated film that accompanies a new Chipotle Mexican Grill app-based game that explores the negative consequences of factory farming.

Apple sings the famous song “Pure Imagination” while cartoon farmers and corporate leaders go about their day to day activities with animals.

The goal of the game is to help the scarecrow fight the evil Crow Foods and its plan to monopolize the food chain.
