The Imperfect Environmentalist is Gilbert’s guide to anyone interested in making simple changes in their life to help the environment.

The mother gives examples of how to live cleaner in many area of living, including the cosmetic cabinet, cleaning, fitness, gardening and recycling.

It’s much easier to motivate people to save the Earth if they aren’t being lectured too hard or are at least having fun with it.

Gilbert used these principles when writing the different sections of The Imperfect Environmentalist, making it a priority to humor her readers as much as she educates them.
