Rihanna Does Stella McCartney Bag

After seeing what could possibly have been a family of animals on Rihanna for the photo shoot for her new album, our nerves are starting to subside now that RiRi’s been spotting wearing what looks to be a Stella McCartney bag.

According to BagThatStyle.com, Rihanna is wearing a Stella McCartney chain detailed Tote, which can be found at Net-A-Porter.

Yes, there are always knockoffs and some designer could be copying Stella’s style, but we’re thinking a superstar like Rihanna goes for the real deal.

At any rate, you can grab yourself a handbag like Rihanna and Run This Town and any other town without leather!

Jillian Michaels is quite the multi-promoter.

The Biggest Loser coach was spotted sporting a PETA Fight Breedism t-shirt.

What’s even more cool is that Jillian is standing in front of a Subway restaurant–and highlighting healthier alternatives to fast food.

Jillian is almost veg–saying she consumes some fish here and there.

We’re crossing our fingers she’ll follow the lead of Biggest Loser co-star Bob Harper and go veg completely one day.

Rodale Hosts Launch Party for Al Gore's New Book - Red Carpet

Al Gore has finally come clean about his thoughts on meat consumption and the environment.

“I’m not a vegetarian, but I have cut back sharply on the meat that I eat,” Gore told ABC Television from New York.

Gore had been criticized in the past for claiming to be an environmentalist, but not discussing the effects of the meat industry and global warming, especially in his narrated documentary on the environment, An Inconvenient Truth.

“It’s absolutely correct that the growing meat intensity of diets around the world is one of the issues connected to this global crisis – not only because of the CO2 involved, but also because of the water consumed in the process.”

“You could add in the health consequences as well.”

Gore advocated eating more fruits and vegetables, but is not quite ready to go vegetarian or tell anyone else to, for that matter.

“I’ve made those changes, and while I don’t go quite as far as Nick saying everybody should become a vegetarian – partly because it’s difficult enough to get the agreement without adding that on top of it – it is a legitimate point of view.”

Ah, come on, Gore.

Don’t be such a faux wiennie. Just cut the animal out of your dietary equation, okay?

Author Jonathan Safran Foer was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently to talk about his latest book, Eating Animals.

Jonathan touched on the fact that most people aren’t aware of the conditions of factory farms.

“Unfortunately this image that we have of a farm has created a distance between our values and our actions,” Jonathan says.

“We continue to believe that the meat on our plate comes from these idealyc places. I wish that it did, but it doesn’t.”

“I love making pizzas from scratch,” Orianthi told IProng magazine, which she is currently on the cover. “I make the base and then I make the topping and everything. And then I love making vegan cakes, you know, just healthier kinds of things. I love cooking. It’s like a meditation for me.”

Orianthi  has a brand new album out, Believe.

It’s no secret Silverstein and PETA are buddies.

Not only have the guys participated in PSAs for the animal rights group, they also threw down an eating challenge with KFC’s vegan faux chicken sandwiches when the restaurant first offered them.

Band member Shane Told recently explained to bringbacktheboombox.com how he and the other Silverstein musicians got acquainted with PETA.

“Our whole band is vegetarian. We just happen to all be vegetarians. We didn’t come together, it just happened. It wasn’t something that our band was fueled by; it was just something that we all had in common. I was talking to PETA while they were at a show and I mentioned that we were all vegetarians, they thought that was very rare. They really wanted to work with us so they contacted us. They wanted us to get involved. We don’t mind spreading the word, it’s important to have a table with some information at the shows. That’s how I learned about it originally from going to hard-core shows and seeing their table that explains about fur and vegetarianism, helping people understand it. That’s how it came about.”

Boy meets AR group. They hit it off on the first date. They agree to continue seeing each other.

Yeah, it’s a pretty classic story.

Perez Hilton PETA–Loud And Obnoxious Meets Loud And Obnoxious

Perez Hilton "Save The Seals"

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is one several stars posing in a PETA Save The Seals campaign.

Perez has voiced his opinions on the animal rights group before, saying although he didn’t agree with everything it stood for, he still found common ground. “I don’t support PETA—I support some of the things that PETA does. I support that they’re kind of like me, in that they’re loud and sometimes obnoxious. Underneath that, a lot of the things they do and other things I don’t agree with.”

Good to know Perez supports ending seal hunts.

“I don’t understand why they have to commit this act of brutality and barbarity,” Perez said. “It’s not necessary.”

There’s no better way to get loud and obnoxious, Perez.

BTW, Perez is looking better than ever, having slimmed down thanks to some better eating and exercise sessions.

Has this dude been stocking up on his veggies, too?
