Finn may be packing more hummus sandwiches to lunch at McKinley High thanks to his girlfriend’s guidance.

Rumor has it that Cory Monteith is considering going vegan because his on-screen and real life girlfriend Lea Michele is one.

“Lea wants Cory to become a vegetarian and then eventually a vegan, like her,” an insider close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com. “Cory is pretty good about the way he eats. He rarely eats meat in front of Lea.”

On the premiere of Glee, Lea Michele‘s character Rachael Berry gets blasted with a heap of spaghetti.

According to Rumor Fix, extras on the set were given spaghetti and meatballs and salad to throw at the cast, but Michele insisted firmly she only be hit with noodles, proving once again that real meat isn’t necessary for that Hollywood special effect.

Glee star Lea Michele is on the cover of the September 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

The actress told the magazine over a bowl of oatmeal that although she’s been accused of being a little on the thin side, her vegetarian diet doesn’t mean she’s eating birdseed for every meal.

“My schedule is insane, but I can out-eat you,” Michele said.

“Cammy, one of the 14 chimpanzees moved to this Texas lab, was taken from her mom the day she was born. She was first traumatically sedated with powerful chemicals when she was six months old… Cammy and her 13 companions have been infected with hepatitis C and subjected to liver biopsies and many other traumatic procedures.”

Lea Michele, in a letter written to the National Institutes of Health on several chimpanzees subjected to invasive research in medical laboratories. The chimps were nearly retired in 2001 before officials decided to move them back into laboratories. Several celebrities have urged for the chimps retirement, including Emily Deschanel and Ricky Gervais.
