Comments Off on Colbie Caillat Makes Vegan Dish On “The Chew” (Video)
Vegan singer and animal welfare advocate Colby Caillat made a visit to the studios of The Chew to cook up a delicious vegan dish with Michael Symon.
Roasted Butternut Squash With Quinoa is considered one of the healthier vegetarian dishes, especially when you consider that some vegetarians begin their new plant-based journey with an endless diet of cheese sandwiches.
Caillat recognizes this mistake and credits her sister for teaching her to cook so well so she could avoid replacing meat with unhealthy items.
The Grammy nominated musician told The Chew cast:
“She inspired me to become a vegetarian. She teaches me how to eat the right way for being a vegetarian. A lot of people — they eat just the french fries and the sides. She taught me how to get the protein, how to get all of the nutrients.”
Watch Part 2 of the cooking session with Colbie and Michael below and grab the recipe at The Chew.
