Daniella Monet

Daniella Monet stars in a new PETA2 ad that encourages people to replace the fish on their plate with something plant-based.

Even vegetarians can be guilty of indulging in occasional fish or forgetting that the food technically does count as meat.

“Not a lot of people touch on fish and how important it is to eliminate that and keep that veggie diet,” Monet says in an interview in a clip that includes behind the scenes shot from the making of the ad.

“I thought “Why not do an underwater mermaid show and stress that you don’t need fish and let the fish swim with the mermaids.”

Watch Monet swim like a vegetarian mermaid and hear the entire interview below.
