After years of conquering Boardwalk and Park Place, players of the popular Hasbro game now have an animal-friendly token option. A cat based on a real life rescue story replaced the longtime Iron. Do not pass go…without stopping by the shelter for your pet.

#4 Vegetarian Cory Booker Elected to U.S. Senate
New Jersey mayor Cory Booker was elected to the U.S. Senate. Booker has been a vegetarian for about two decades. Like all great politicians, he’s already gotten his sex scandal out of the way. After Tweets between him and a stripper, a vegan “gentlemen’s club” named a veggie burger after him.

Lea Michele Top Chef

Lea Michele visited the crew on Bravo’s Top Chef to celebrate its 150th anniversary.

The theme was obviously Halloween based and the Glee actress is hosting a costume party for which the chef contestants must prepare food for.

In a preview of the show, Michele greets the contestants and announces how happy she is to be there.

Cupcake Wars

This weekend’s episode of Cupcake Wars is once again turning the spotlight on a vegan-friendly bakery.

Miss Moffett’s Mystical Cupcakes was started in 2011 by Rachel Young of Olympia, Washington.

The bakery offers vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free cupcakes at request in a variety of flavors, including Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate-Vanilla Swirl, Coconut Lime and Blueberry Lemon.

Young and her mother will be baking alongside each other, vying for the big $10,000 grand prize and the chance to baker for an LA Bridal event.

Bri Kozior Top Chef
