Former Miss World Rosanna Davison recently interviewed with the Daily Mail, which actually grilled her on some serious topics like whether or not she’d had a boob job and why she was seen promoting pepperoni pizza if she claimed to be vegetarian or vegan with natural boobs.

Actually, we’re kidding about the breast part. At least some of it. To find out if she really did get surgery, go here.

A series of ads were displayed on buses in the UK that read, “A vegan diet is so much better for your health, for the environment generally and, as no animals are harmed, it’s cruelty free.”

But what does the daughter of Chris de Burgh, who sang the famous song Lady In Red, say about making vegetarians see red when they view her meaty pizza ad?

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is still justifying her caribou kill on her TLC show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” by arguing she’s feeding her family with stuff’s that’s healthier than what’s in the supermarket.

During an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, Palin explained her stance.

“We eat, therefore we hunt — and I am thankful that I get to feed my kids organic food,” Palin said.

However, studies have shown that wild game isn’t really that organic after all, and could contain dangerous levels of lead due to the way it’s killed in the wild. The Department of Natural Resources has warned against eating wild game because of this and a study conducted by British and Spanish researchers published in the journal PLos ONE found similar results.

Super Meat Boy

Super Meat Boy

Edmund McMillen, one of the two men behind Super Meat Boy, has taken to the game’s official blog to discuss the feud between it and PETA. The animal rights group created a spin-off to Super Meat Boy, Super Tofu Boy, which replaces the bloody meat character with a block of tofu.

But Super Meat Boy isn’t a piece of meat, insists McMillen. Some other surprises–this super meat creator used to be a vegetarian.

“Meat Boy isn’t made of animal meat, he’s simply a boy without skin whose name is Meat Boy.”

“Now don’t get me wrong, i have NOTHING against Vegans or Vegetarians. I was Vegetarian for many years, and was an animal control officer who saved animals for a living for a long time, i empathize, understand and accept why people choose to eat, and live as they wish, and obviously i believe everyone should have the freedom to express themselves in anyway as long as it doesn’t hurt others.”

McMillen’s “beef” with PETA is what he believes is its stance on animal testing.

Taryn Terrell

Taryn Terrell

Two worlds are noticeably missing Taryn Terrell.

Ex Diva Tiffany has dropped being a vegan like the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) cut her from its roster of female wrestlers.

Yes, despite something she worked for three and a half years to accomplish and despite other athletes are thriving on plants, Tiffany felt she had to at least go back to eating organic meat.

You know the story. Blah, blah, something about protein.

Listen to the excuses in an exclusive interview at Diva Dirt.

In news of sick, disgusting and what a stupid idea, we bring you the latest product of Van Couver entrepreneurs TheCheeky.com.

A piggy bank made from a real pig is available for $4,000, but so far, no one is rushing to stand in line to purchase it like the Tickle Me Elmo annoyance who inhaled too much laughing gas years ago.

“We’ve had a few emails today saying some not very nice things to us,” said Ryan McCormick, one of two entrepreneurs behind the online shop. “Some death threats and many calling us disgusting pigs.”

Further evidence that a vegetarian or vegan should never take a job involving handling meat, as your duties may including eating on the job.

It seems at one McDonald’s restaurant in Porto Alegre, Brazil, a manager was required to taste test every day for “quality control.” Naturally, he blew up like a golden arch to 230 pounds and was awarded $17,500 for the damages, enough to purchase some healthy vegetarian items to help get him on his way back to the healthy 154 pounds he weighed on day one of the job.

After nine years of vegetarianism, singer Sade has announced she has no problem eating Mary the little lamb.

“I hate to say this,” she said in an interview with All About Jazz, “but when I saw these lambs gamboling through the field and I started to salivate and I thought I should get to the tandoori shop quick before I pull a leg off one of the lambs. It’s weird. I just thought the natural thing to do right now was to eat meat. I went through the whole veggie period thinking that was a good thing, and maybe it was for that time.”

It’s funny how Sade thinks it’s “natural” to eat lamb, when raising the animal is actually quite an unnatural process.

Lamb is sheep meat that is less than a year old and most lamb arrives at the market around 6-8 months of age. Instead of weening for a normal time period, the babies are quickly introduced to a diet consisting of corn, barley and milo.

The animals are also sentient beings. According to the Humane Society, sheep remember and recognize faces of their flock after years of separation.

Alberto Contador

Alberto Contador, a third time Tour de France winner, is blaming bad meat on testing positive for a banned substance in the competition.

Contador alleges he consumed beef contaminated with Clenbuterol, a substance sometimes given to cattle to increase their growth rate, which is also an asthma drug that some athletes use as a stimulant.

“It’s a case of food contamination in which I’m the victim,” Contador said, according to the Wall Street Journal. He told a radio station that people he had dined with had complained about the quality of the meat, which was brought for the team at a shop in Spain. If anti-doping officials in Spain find him guilty, Contador could lose his 2010 Tour de France title and be banned from cycling for 2 years. However, there is data that shows Contador and other people can be victims of cows who dope.

Back in 1991, the FDA was alerted that the drug, normally only possessed by veterinarians, was being used to gain competitive advantage in animals. The FDA states that Clenbuterol residues can cause heart and lung function problems for people who have eaten the liver or meat of animals given the drug. In addition, several short-term illnesses in Europe have been traced to people eating meat contaminated with Clenbuterol.

In Spain, where Contador consumed the meat, Clenbuterol controversy had reared its head several times. In two outbreaks in 1990, 135 people who consumed contaminated beef that was verified positive for Clenbuterol were hospitalized for symptoms of increased heart rate, muscular tremors, headache, nausea, fever, and chills. An earlier outbreak with similar symptoms made Clenbuterol a suspect, but nothing was confirmed.
