Quantcast Vegetarian StarMcDonald’s Ordered To Pay Up For Making Employee Fat

Further evidence that a vegetarian or vegan should never take a job involving handling meat, as your duties may including eating on the job.

It seems at one McDonald’s restaurant in Porto Alegre, Brazil, a manager was required to taste test every day for “quality control.” Naturally, he blew up like a golden arch to 230 pounds and was awarded $17,500 for the damages, enough to purchase some healthy vegetarian items to help get him on his way back to the healthy 154 pounds he weighed on day one of the job.

The manager alleged that not only did his job require he eat food filled with, “too much salt, sugar, and fat,” causing him to develop “high cholesterol, obesity, and muscle weakness,” but the company also did not provide any healthier alternatives than the nutritious double-double with cheese and mayonnaise factory farmed meat concoctions.

A video of the story is available at Treehugger.

Don’t know about you, but we suggest the manager send his resume to a vegetarian fast food restaurant, like VG Burgers, where the food is animal-free, the pounds gained over a lifetime for employees is minimal and there are no creepy looking red-headed clowns (even creepier than Carrot  Top) trying to give toys to kids during mealtime, which violates the number one rule everyone learned in school: Never accept gifts from a stranger!
