“Dan and I spent a lot of years talking to people who were either vegan or they stopped being vegan at some point and they were struggling with it. We kept hearing the same things over and over again, that ‘it’s too hard,’ ‘the food’s weird,’ or ‘I really don’t know how to use things like mock meat or fake cheeses.’ And so we really wanted to address those issues.”

–Annie Shannon, co-author of the book that turns takes the meat, egg and dairy out of classic Betty Crocker Recipes, Betty Goes Vegan.
