Kristin Bauer

Kristin Bauer is taking a break  from playing True Blood‘s vampire Pam Ravenscroft to star in a series of interviews for Animal Legal Defense Fund that highlight the numerous animal welfare issues people can educate themselves about and get involved, such as puppy mills.

Bauer recently discussed animals in the entertainment industry.

“I feel like I can speak about animals in entertainment because I chose to be an entertainer,” Bauer says in one ALDF video.

Daniel Bryan Promotes Vegan Diet In PETA 2 Ad (Video)

Daniel Bryan is looking good in his brand new PETA2 ad that promotes veganism.

The WWE superstar went vegan on the recommendation that it would stop some recurrent infections he was experiencing and never went back after being cured.

“As a WWE Superstar, staying healthy and having a lot of energy helps me succeed in the ring—that’s why I choose to be a vegan,” Bryan said.

Geneva Cruz is getting cozy with mother nature’s food in a new ad for vegetariansim and PETA Asia.

The model who has graced the pages of FHM and Maxim magazines took the vegetarian plunge at 15 after feeding several animals during a shampoo commercial she was shooting.

“For me, being vegan is not about the diet,” Cruz said. “It’s really about my love for all creatures.”

VegNews caught up with Miller, who’s been veggie since 2003 and took the vegan plunge in 2007, at the first annual Vegans In Vegas conference.

Mike Binder

Actor, writer, director and producer Mike Binder has finally opened his Coney Dog restaurant in West Hollywood, a stop for all treats native to his hometown in Detroit like dogs, Faygo pop and Better Made Chips.

Binder’s wife and daughter are both vegetarian, which prompted him to put veggie dogs and other items on the menu.

Tal Ronnen, in an interview with the LA Times. The article highlights the growing trend among culinary experts, vegetarians and animal activists accepting and promoting flexitarianism or vegetarianism that lets one slide here and there instead of mandating the adherence to strict eating patterns.
