Horses breathed a sigh of relief once they learned Selena Gomez wasn’t going to embarass them by painting them pink for her new music video, “Love You Like A Love Song.”

Now sheep must make a run for it or risk being spray painted for a new Simon Cowell show in the UK.

Kristen Wiig Russell Brand Win PETA Sexiest Vegetarians

PETA has revealed the winners of its latest Sexiest Vegetarians Contest.

Being sexy, vegetarian and funny must be a likely combination because this year two hilarious television personalities, Kristen Wiig and Russell Brand were crowned Queen and King.

Ironically, SNL star Wiig once starred in a skit mocking vegans. But since she still considers some of her indulgences to be dark chocolate peanut M & M’s and “hot, melty cheesy sandwiches” we guess it’s still okay for her to mock the nut cheese and rice milk fanatics.

Leona Lewis

Leona Lewis visited the Cleveland Armory Black Beauty Ranch to get close with a few of her favorite animal friends that included horses, primates and other animals.

Lewis recorded a PSA for the ranch, which sits on 1,300 acres and is home to over 1,200 wild and domestic animals that have been rescued from various situations such as circuses, roadside zoos and slaughterhouses.

“I have my own horse,” Lewis says in the video. “He’s so beautiful and gentle and gives me so much love back. To think that someone would hurt them is heartbreaking.”

Yotam Ottolenghi keeps plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Like an abundance of herbs to beautify and liven up a dish and the pomegranate seeds he calls the “Jewels in the Crown.”

Yotam uses these tricks in his vegetable cookbook Plenty, and NPR recently interviewed the chef to learn how he makes magic with vegetables, including not overcooking your greens.

Leonardo DiCaprio has written a letter to the California State Senate in support of Assembly Bill 376, which would ban the sale of shark fins in the state.

In addition to being backed by dozens of celebrities like Megan Fox, Rachel Bilson and Ben Stiller, the bill is supported by the Humane Society of the United States, Wild Aid and Natural Resources Defense Council.
