Is Tila Tequila a bit narcissistic? She openly called herself “hot” on globalgrind.com.

Well, if you know you got it, admit it! Not only is she hot, she’s got a warm heart for animals, and has taken the opportunity to discourage people from wearing fur.

“I don’t know who those people are that have it in their hearts to skin an animal while it is still alive but I hope that by promoting fur alternatives I’m doing my part to stop that needless suffering. You will never see me wearing a fur and if you do, rest assured its FAKE. If you love animals you cannot justify wearing them. Its that simple. Remember, hot girls fake it…for the animals. I should know, cause I’m hot. Lol.”

Tila posted a video about what goes on in fur factories that has generated TONS of comments.

This gal who has appeared in Stuff, Maxim, Time, and Penthouse definitely knows how to light up the room. And not just because she looks good.

Read what else Tequila has to say and view a pic of her cuddling up with a cute four legged friend at globalgrind.com.

Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Says Food Is Solution To Every Crisis

Afternoon pop quiz:

What do the economic crisis, water shortages, global warming, healthcare, and energy all have in common?

Give up? The answer, according to Dilbert creator Scott Adams, is food!

Simply put, Adams thinks that if we start making healthier choices with our food, these problems will resolve on their own.

On his blog, much like cartoonist Dan Piraro, Adams like to dabble in veg related issues from time to time.

Going veg would solve many problems, says Adams, only creating the tiny inconveniences of ticked off meat farmers and 200 year old senior citizens who haven’t kicked the bucket because they’re so healthy.

“Healthy eating would have a huge impact on healthcare costs. It would be partially offset by people living longer, but I have to think multiple sports injuries cost less than one heart bypass operation. And I read somewhere that 40% of mortgage foreclosures are caused by health problems. (Anyone have a link for that?) So in the short run, until the world is overrun by 200-year old marathoners collecting Social Security, the economy would be better off if people ate right. And that would free up money to insure the uninsured.”

“Now imagine that cattle are taken out of the food chain. Suddenly you don’t need to cut down the rain forests to create new pastures, and the cost of food would drop because veggies are much cheaper than cows. Preserving trees would help the environment, which is also good for the economy. Beef suppliers wouldn’t be too happy about this situation, so that is one offset to consider. But your food bill would be substantially lower.”

McCartney Family Launch Meat Free Monday - Photocall

Paul McCartney has said in the past that everyone should at least have a Meat Free Monday, or one day of the week where meat isn’t consumed to lessen the impact of the industry on the planet.

Now the whole McCartney family is getting in on the game, with daughters Mary and Stella backing dear ol’ dad.

The family has been giving Meat Free Monday a lot of press interviews lately, including one with Sky News, where Paul made an attempt to crack a cow fart joke by saying, “A cow walks into a bar…”

Glad he wasn’t able to finish it.

Cows passing gas in the fields are responsible for more greenhouse emissions than cars on the roads.

We already know Isa Chandra Moskowitz makes badass vegan desserts.

With cookbooks like Vegan With A Vengeance and Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World, and not to mention that Post Punk Kitchen show, Isa has taken over the vegan world with her delicious recipes and sassy attitude.

Now we know Isa is a badass environmentalist as well.

Grist.org lists her among the top, “badass greens,” saying, “This vegan-punk chef is taking over the world—one decadent, dairy-free delicacy at a time. As an author and co-founder of the cooking show Post Punk Kitchen, Moskowitz is bringing mainstream audiences two flavors of badassery for the price of one. But will punk officially be dead when The Man starts baking vegan cupcakes?”

Hey, when The Man starts baking vegan cupcakes, we will have eventually got the man down, so that’s cool.

Meatless Mouthful: Daryl Hannah On Choosing One Cause

Screening Of Home At Stella McCartneys Store - Arrivals

“You know, a lot of people say: ‘What are you? An environmentalist? A humanitarian? We’re confused.’ They want to put you in a little box. They don’t understand unless you pick one thing and that’s your thing — unless you say: ‘I’m fighting for all shoes to be vegan shoes.’ I just can’t work that way — it’s all interconnected to me, and what I’d like to do is help people understand that interconnection — that if you buy a T-shirt from a chainstore, it may have been made with sweatshop labour, it may have been made by little kids, it definitely took more than nine years of drinking water to make that T-shirt, and it probably was processed with a whole bunch of chemicals as well. That’s sort of what my challenge is — to help people understand that everything you do, or everything you don’t do, has an effect.”

—-Actress Daryl Hannah, in an interview with independent.ie, on what she says when people ask if she has a focus.

It’s hard for an environmentalist to eat steak and chicken every day and not look like a hypocrite. Ditto for vegetarians who don’t buy leather-free shoes. And whether you buy the locally grown produce that took less fuel to get to the dinner table or make the choice to walk those few blocks instead of revving up the car-everything has an effect.

Alice Walker Supports A Would Be Vegetarian: “La Vaca (The Cow)”

Alice Walker: In Support of Vegetarians, “La Vaca (The Cow)”More related videos from Asterpix

Poet Alice Walker said she’s glad she doesn’t like to eat cows since she grew up on a dairy farm and grew to love every feature of them, including “their smell,” which she jokingly says is because “they’re vegetarian and that helps.”

One of Alice’s friends wanted to stop eating meat, but found it hard because it seemed foreign given the fact he grew up around so much meat eating. Alice wrote the poem “La Vaca (The Cow),” to help him understand what vegetarian meant from the cow’s point of view.

“Look into her eyes…And know…that she does not think of herself as steak,” the poem goes.

Watch Alice tell her story and recite the poem to a crowd at Emory University.

If this doesn’t scare the fur off Susan Boyles‘ cat Pebbles, nothing will.

Piers Morgan, host of Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent is the poster boy for Burger King’s new scent, Flame.

Piers has donated his face (that’s a model’s body superimposed on his) to the scent that a Burger King spokesperson describes as a “very manly smell.”

“It’s well known that certain foods can increase your libido,” the BK spokesperson said. “Flame has a hint of grilled beef but that has quite masculine connotations. It is almost like a pheromone.”

Yeah, that really gets the veg ladies going, alright. Nothing like rotten flesh to get you in the mood.

Fast food restaurants launching perfume segments of their business? What’s the world coming to? Surely hope there’s no cologne for Long John Silver’s coming in the works.

The video below shows the making of the Piers Morgan Flame porn. Watch and be disgusted at your own risk.
