Meatless Mouthful: Leona Lewis Helps Animals Through Her Music
Written by Vegetarian Star on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 in Female Singers, Meatless Mouthful.
“I definitely have moments when I come home and shut the door and think that all I want to do is sing. But then I think, wait a minute — how are people going to hear my music? The bottom line is that if I can inspire, create awareness and help someone or an animal in any way, then it’s all been worth it”
—-Leona Lewis, in an interview with The Big Issue magazine.
Leona’s definitely doing her job, as she never fails to bring up her vegetarian diet and lifestyle in interviews and public appearances.
Leona’s sophomore album, Echo, is set to debut November 17.
