I’ve certainly seen all over the world in many different communities that, once people have a few skills and confidence, they make different choices in the grocery store. Once they make different choices in the grocery store — and on the Main Street fast-food restaurants — then companies will be forced to serve a higher quality offer. That’s when the real change happens.”

Jamie Oliver, who recently created “Food Revolution Day,” a holiday celebrated this month that encouraged people around the globe to cook without processed ingredients.

The actor is starring in a new film on male strippers, Magic Mike, and told OUT magazine he borrowed a few of Jenna’s vegetarian recipes to help get him in shape.

Or at least the ones without tomatoes.

One of Britain’s popular comedians thinks eating animals is no laughing matter.

John Bishop has posed in a new ad for PETA UK that reads, “Chicks Love a Vegetarian.”

Bishop has been a vegetarian for over 25 years, a move that was motivated by both working in a fast-food restaurant and seeing a cow being slaughtered on a farm.

“The cow was hanging up looking at me as if to say ‘you did this’”.

Eat & Run Scott Jurek

Scott Jurek‘s latest book, Eat and Run, is scheduled for release in June.

The vegan athlete who’s set records in ultra-distance runs like the Western States Endurance Run, a 100-mile course over the old Gold Rush trails of the California Sierra Nevada; the Badwater Ultramarathon, a 135-mile path through Death Valley and the 153-mile Spartathlon in Greece.

He accomplished this all on a plant-based diet.

John Salley has partnered with vegan wine company The Vegan Vine Wines to help educate consumers on the animal products used in the wine filtration process.

The basketball legend will take part ownership and serve as an ambassador in the family-owned and operated Clos LaChance Wines brand.

As both a vegan and wine lover, I was very surprised to learn about the use of animal products in the vinification process,” said Mr. Salley. “I had no idea.”
