Ex President and Chief Operating Officer of McDonald’s Mike Roberts recruited vegan chef Tal Ronnen to help create the menu.

Both men sat with Jane and answered questions from viewers about this exciting new concept.

Vegan chefs will take over the stage at the annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Cooking taking place April 30 and May 1 on the campus of the University of Southern California.

The 16 year festival is one of the largest literary events in the country, attracting 150,000 people, including 100 author events and more than 350 authors from around the world.

Steve Wynn‘s switch to a vegan diet has rubbed off on his employees, his restaurants and even his will. Now it’s rubbing off on a world class wine and food festival in Las Vegas, Vegas Uncork’d.

On May 7, Wynn Las Vegas will host a vegan cooking course, Viva Las Vegan, as part of the festival by Bon Appétit. Vegan chef and author of The Conscious Cook, Tal Ronnen, will co-host the event.

The 25th annual Genesis Awards is the Humane Society’s way of rewarding celebrities or other well-known people for their contributions to animal welfare.

Besides trophies, a great way to reward these stars is with great vegan food!

Tal Ronnen, vegan chef and author of The Conscious Cook, is in charge of preparing the menu for the event that takes place on March 19 in Los Angeles and Ok! Magazine received the word on what the stars will be munching on, including the vegan desserts.

Officials from Wynn have shared descriptions of what some of the entrees Ronnen helped add to an already vegan-friendly menu, thanks to Steve Wynn‘s decision to go vegan. “I don’t worry about somebody who’s already vegan. I’m interested in exposing this cuisine to people fighting heart disease or cancer. We lead the world in cancer, heart disease, stroke, obesity, and diabetes. Kids are obese and diabetic. I can’t imagine what it’s like to grow up that way.”

Tal Ronnen, vegan chef and author of “The Conscious Cook,” who’s just signed up to expose Vegas fans to the vegan cuisine, as he’ll be creating dishes for the Wynn Las Vegas hotel menu.
