One Sexy MF named Prince was a guest onĀ George Lopez where he talked about the effect of the Internet on the music industry, the middle man in concert ticket prices and of course, his vegetarian diet.

Prince thinks a hot dog is one of the worst foods out there and the ingredients in them are so obscene, Prince can’t even say them on television, given the fact he tries to abstain from cursing, which adhering to a plant-based diet may also help him do.

The new word for anything 4-letter is now “artichoke.”

“If I can stop swearing, everybody can stop swearing,” Prince said.

How does a man in his 50s stay so slim and wrinkle-free all while retaining his chick magnet status? Must be the locally grown veggies.

Prince is featured as the cover boy for the July issue of Ebony and the crew had the pleasure of eating a four course vegan meal with the musician during the 12 hours they spent with him at Paisley Park in Chanhassen.

He’s set to receive the BET Lifetime achievement award on June 27, plus he was one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People for 2010 and was once voted PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian in 2006.

Singer Prince was spotted at San Francisco’s Farmer Brown restaurant eating vegetable jambalaya.

The celebrity stalker, or, uh, the person who spotted him posted a picture of the text that was sent to someone else as the event took place.

“Actually…vegan. He is eatin veggie jambalaya.”

“Wow, that’s so tight. Jealous right now!”

Here’s the picture for the entire conversation.

If Prince got everything according to the menu, the veggie jambalaya comes with portobello mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower and baby carrots.

According to its website, Farmer Brown is a soul food restaurant, with an emphasis in supporting local, African-American farmers that produce organic and sustainable foods.

Apparently, it’s also where all the sexy MFs dine.

Alex Guarnaschelli, the executive chef at NYC’s Butter restaurant, has made the rounds in the celebrity chef world, including competing against Cat Cora in Iron Chef America, and judging on the Food Network’s Food Network Challenge, Chopped and The Best Thing I Ever Ate.

But none of these experiences beat preparing food for some of her favorite celebrities, like Prince, who has a thing for eating seasonal vegetables at 3AM.

From Popeater:

“I love Prince. He comes here whenever he’s in town. He’s a vegetarian, eats very late at night and we go back a few years with my 3AM vegetarian meals for him. Just bringing him plates and plates of local vegetables is one of my favorite celebrity interactions I’ve had. Watching this firecracker of a person eat my food is incredible.”

Although some data suggests frozen may be equal or better than fresh as far as nutrition goes, nothing beats a crisp, fresher from the garden local veggie like a green bean sauteed in olive oil and sprinkled with organic herbs.

Whether you eat your veggies at 3AM or 3PM, what’s your favorite local treat to cook in the kitchen?
