Erykah Badu will perform at the 4th annual Texas Veggie Fair on Sunday October 20 at Reverchon Park in Dallas.

The event is free and will feature a live performance from Badu, as well as her speaking on the vegan and holistic lifestyle.

She will be present between the hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can expect a lot of good thing’s at this year’s fair.

ABC’s Nightline recently featured a segment on the numerous ag-gag laws making their way through Congress.

“Would you like to see where your dinner came from?” asked Bill Weir during the episode.

Executive Director for the animal welfare group Mercy for Animals Nathan Runkle made an appearance to discuss the laws that seek to make hidden camera investigations on factory farms illegal. It is a move that many activists feel would hamper whistle blowers who out acts of animal cruelty.

Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest Coney Island

Joey Chesnut won his 6th straight first place championship in the 4th of July Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest, downing a whopping 68 dogs and buns.

Despite the dozens of animal parts, sodium and preservatives in hot dogs linked to cancer, Chesnut said he felt “good” about the experience and it was a “great win.”
