Shayne Lamas recently celebrated her 24th birthday at Katsuya restaurant with actor dad Lorenzo Lamas and the fam.

Shayne won the 12th season of The Bachelor, but she and Matt Grant remain only “friends” now.

Such a shame.

If that’s real fur Shayne’s wearing, she might have a problem finding a new man because everybody knows real men dig ladies who fake it.

There’s no better way to let a guy know you’re that sweet, caring wife and motherly type than by refusing to wear an animal’s hide in the name of fashion.

Of course if Shayne’s wearing faux fur, we can relax and Leave It To The Lamas to set a good example of how to make a fashion statement.

Emma Heming and Bruce Willis recently enjoyed dinner at Madeo’s in West Hollywood.

Wonder if Emma wears her heart on her sleeve–literally.

Cause if that’s a real fur coat, Bruce’s new wife has got to be heartless.

Bruce may have a thing for hairy ladies, as his former wife, Demi Moore, has made PETA worst dressed celebrity list due to the family of animals in her closet.

But we hope Emma’s a total phony and was wearing a lovely faux fur that evening.

Christian Serratos PETA "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" Ad

Christian Serratos has bared all in a PETA I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur ad in an effort to urge Twilight fans and everybody else to stay as far away from fur as the Cullens stay away from human flesh.

The 19 year old actress told PETA, “I’ve always been opposed to slaughtering, eating, wearing carcass. It’s just always seemed gross to me.”

Not to mention cruel.

According to PETA’s website, “Rabbits, foxes, minks, dogs, cats, chinchillas, and other animals are bludgeoned, strangled, drowned, poisoned, stomped to death, or electrocuted or have their necks broken all in the name of fashion.”

That’s a death worse than one by vampire.

Glee stars Dianna Agron and Lea Michele were caught outside the MTV studios after appearing on It’s On with host Alexa Chung.

Looks like Dianna said “It’s On” with fur before heading outside the studios.

If Dianna’s wearing fur, her lack of compassion for animals makes a stark contrast to her co-star Lea, who can be seen in an ad urging people to boycott horse drawn carriage rides.

But maybe she takes her compassion advice from Alexa, who, although is also vegetarian, doesn’t mind killing the animals she hates.

Geez.

Latin pop diva Paulina Rubio jetted off after having lunch with some friends at Da Silvano restaurant recently.

The Golden Girl and Queen of Latin Pop kept warm and made a fashion statement with this fur vest.

Paulina once made a statement, “I am famous since I was born,” giving reference to the fact her mother, Susana Dosamantes is a well known actress and her father, Enrique Rubio, is an high profile lawyer in Mexico.

Surely, such a beautiful and talented Latina with power would use it to better the world. And an easy way to be progressive and influence your fans is to show them fur is cruel is by wearing a fake.

On a recent segment of Oprah Winfrey‘s show, a fashion stylist made over several women and compared the before and after look.

When the stylist commented that the fur vest on the woman for her “after” look was fake, Oprah replied, “I was a PETA Woman of the Year so I hope that’s faux!”

Oprah won such an award for using her fame to bring attention to puppy mills and factory farms.

Hats off to O for letting her viewers know fur’s not stylish by any means.

A Tweet from Lindsay Lohan gave a glimmer of hope the actress might be going cruelty-free in her designs for French fashion house Ungaro, where she is the artistic advisor.

“Fyi my furs are fake! Seriously!”

However, a call to her rep from PETA revealed the stoles you see from Lindsay are indeed real fur.

Real fur in 2009?

Guess the reviews of her fashions, describing them as “cheesy and dated” and “old-fashioned and ill-judged fur stoles,” were right on target.
