Heather Mills Launches V-Bites Restaurant

“Just got a call from V-Bites – 3000 plus today – unbelievable. So happy people are loving it.”

“I am knackered but on an adrenaline high – and getting to watch people eat great food everyday. What more could I want?”

—-Heather Mills, on recent Twitter updates on the success of her new vegan restaurant, V Bites,  in Hove Lagoon in the UK. Sounds like Heather’s got a party going on in her body like Ginnifer Goodwin had when she went vegan.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr attend a party for Rachel Zoe in NYC

One scorching hot couple, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at the vegetarian restaurant Real Food Daily.

If you’re in the Santa Monica, California area, you might spy a whole host of veg celebs eating there, including Tobey Maguire, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Heather Mills.

Miranda had the job of carrying the doggie bag home while Orlando seemed to be giving her a pat on the bum.

We’re sure it was Orlando’s way of praising Miranda for picking such a great restaurant, hahaha.

Miranda showed her vegan friendly love before when she modeled for and launched the Victoria’s Secret PINK collection, a vegan and free of animal testing body care line from the company

Visit x17online.com to see the pics of Orlando and Miranda, otherwise known as “Mirlando,” taking their veggie grub to their car.

What do big time stars like Ginnifer Goodwin, Audrey Tatou, Alicia Silverstone, Keira Knightley and Emmy Rossum all have in common?

They’ve had good work done by Los Angeles based celebrity makeup artist Kerry Malouf, who’ll be a regular contributor to beautynewsnyc.com.

Malouf is a vegetarian who uses beauty products not tested on animals and that contain natural and organic products whenever possible.

It’s a no brainer that vegan activists like Ginnifer Goodwin and Alicia Silverstone love an artist who practices good beauty ethos, but the fact Malouf’s CV includes stars who aren’t veg is incredible.

“I believe that true beauty comes from the inside out, so what you put inside your body reflects on the outside, with makeup and clothing enhancing the outside with color and fabrics making daily life a little more fun,” Malouf said.

Feeling good on the inside because no creatures were harmed in the making of your concealor will truly make your outward appearance shine.

Ginnifer Goodwin Just Not That Into Converting People To Vegan

Actress Ginnifer Goodwin hosts an evening at Prive in Las Vegas

Although Ginnifer Goodwin used to be a cheeseburger lover, she doesn’t crave those anymore. But that doesn’t mean cares if someone else does. From the editor’s blog at W magazine:

“So many people say to me, ‘I tried, and it was too hard,’ or ‘I had to cheat,’ and I always think, ‘Then it’s not right for you,'” Ginnifer said.

“You shouldn’t have to try. For me there’s no “try” involved. There’s nothing I want less than a piece of cheese or a burger. I have nightmares I’m being force-fed these things. I have no interest in converting anyone. It’s purely how I want to live my life. I don’t judge anyone.”

Ginnifer took some flack for posing in leather and silk for the W magazine shoot, which her cousin and Humane Society of the United States coordinator, JP Goodwin, explained to readers in the comments section on a post at supervegan.com.

What do you guys think of judgemental vegans? Should people make more effort to educate and change the diet of others. Or will this only turn people away?

Ginnifer Goodwin, Ex Cheeseburger Gal, Shows Off Vegan Appetite

Written by Vegetarian Star on Monday, May 11th, 2009 in Actresses, Food & Drink.

Celebs attend the 23rd Genesis Awards in great fashion W Magazine (which is on a roll doing some fantastic regular vegan features, by the way) recently interviewed actress Ginnifer Goodwin, where they discovered the newlywed vegan used to have some Big Love for cheeseburgers.

“People keep saying to me, ‘Ginny, you were such a cheeseburger person; that was, like, your thing,'” Ginnifer told W.

“I’m so anti body-image issues. It was always part of my identity that I would show off by eating everything. But I’ve made a decision that I could not continue to support these [meat] industries.”

But that doesn’t mean Ginnifer can’t enjoy a big meal like in her pre-vegan days.

While doing the interview, Ginnifer was scarfing down spaghetti and “wheat” balls at a vegan eatery in Greenwich village.

And we already know she doesn’t go without her taco fix for long. Or her vegan pancakes, which may have her doing an Olivia Wilde eating contest on somebody.

We still know you’re the Queen of Eating, Ginnifer. Now you wear a healthier, less cruel crown.

Ginnifer Goodwin Gets Vegan Taco Fix At Vegan Glory

The Metropolitan Operas 125th Anniversary Gala

When we first heard about Ginnifer Goodwin picking up a take out order at Vegan Glory, we had no idea what was in the bag. Now, we’re getting some hints.

When asked by Blackbookmag.com where she liked to hang while in L.A., Goodwin replied:

“Oh, I’ll give you LA. My favorite restaurant is this little spot called Vegan Glory, in a strip mall on Beverly. They have the most phenomenal tacos. Are you a vegan? I am, and that’s where I get my taco fix. I recommend the faux beef tacos—absolutely!”

Okay, okay, we get it Ginnifer. You gotta have your vegan tacos or the set of Big Love gets really tense and ugly.

Wonder if she ever runs into Heather Mills and her singing child there?
