Alan Cumming celebrated New York City being named most vegan-friendly in the nation with some representative from both People from the Ethical Treatment of Animals and NYC City Council.
The group posed for a photo with a vegetable replica of the New York City skyline that featured broccoli trees, carrot skyscrapers and a Chrysler building topped with radishes.

Emily Deschanel and her husband are celebrating their son’s third birthday with a vegan party!
“[Henry] turns 3. We’re going to have a little party for him, trying not to overwhelm him too much,” Deschanel told PEOPLE at the Mercy For Animals 15th Anniversary Gala Friday night in West Hollywood.
Deschanel plans to serve vegan tacos for the toddler she describes as “99% vegan,” adding he occasionally eats eggs like his father, writer and actor David Hornsby.
Denzel Washington stars in the remake of The Equalizer, which hits the theatres this September 26.
Like many roles, Denzel’s required him to prep by engaging in some strenuous physical activity and following a strict, but healthy diet.
“Training, boxing… I was a vegetarian for three months,” he said while promoting the film at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. “I’m through with tofu!”

Rob Zombie, Scott Ian (ANTHRAX) and Gary Holt (EXODUS, SLAYER) will appear as guest judges on Bravo’s Top Chef tonight, September 10 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
Zombie will evaluate dishes from the pool of cheftestants that include Tiffani, who although runs a barbecue restaurant, boasts that many customers come in for the sides.
