Emily Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby are expecting their second child!

The actress who is already a mother to a three-year old son named Henry was vocal about keeping a plant-based diet during her first pregnancy and has continued to discuss how she incorporates lessons about the vegan lifestyle with her first born.

The restaurant was co-founded by vegan chef and author of The Conscious Cook, Tal Ronnen.

Deschanel and Hornsby are raising their baby on a plant-based diet, at least until he is able to make more of his eating decisions himself.

Emily Deschanel has brought a vegan baby into the world.

She and husband David Hornsby welcomed their first child earlier this month.

Is maintaining a vegan pregnancy as hard as maintaining your composure during painful contractions?

Deschanel told Fit Pregnancy, “I don’t think it’s any more challenging for me than for anyone else.”

“The real challenge for a vegan is getting vitamin B12 and omega-3s, but you can get those in a vegetarian supplement.”
