Quantcast Vegetarian StarEmily Deschanel And David Hornsby Take Baby To Vegan Crossroads

Emily Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby dined as a family together at Crossroads vegan restaurant in West Hollywood.

The restaurant was co-founded by vegan chef and author of The Conscious Cook, Tal Ronnen.

Deschanel and Hornsby are raising their baby on a plant-based diet, at least until he is able to make more of his eating decisions himself.

“He will be mostly vegan and always have a choice in the matter, but we will educate him about why we make the choices we do with our food,” Deschanel said.

Deschanel took a moment to send out a Tweet recognizing Ronnen for his delicious efforts.

“Had another incredible meal last night at @Crossroads8284 ! Thanks to @TalRonnen amazing!”

Although Crossroads is vegan, chef Ronnen is convinced a group of mixed eaters can enjoy the experience just as well.

“Crossroads is a place where vegans and carnivores can dine together…and a full bar which has never been done at a vegan restaurant before,” Ronnen said.
