The Today Show recently featured the Humane Society’s End Dogfighting program and CEO of the HSUS Wayne Pacelle‘s new book about the relationship between animals and humans, The Bond.
Sharing the spotlight with Meredith Vieira was Pacelle, a representative from End Dogfighting and one incredibly cute dog named June Bug who was saved from the life of a dog fighter.
Jesse Eisenberg Several celebrities attended Farm Sanctuary’s 25th anniversary gala this past Saturday night at Ciprani Wall Street in Manhattan, including Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg.
Jane Velez-Mitchell, who also attended the event, aired a brief segment on the gala that featured an interview with Eisenberg.

Ross and the HSUS are urging people to contact their representatives and ask them to support the Great Ape Protection Act and the Cost Savings Act, H.R.1513 and S.810. respectively.

Maggie Q appeared on Conan O’Brien‘s late night TBS talk show where the topic of her pro-vegetarian ads for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals came up.
Conan didn’t reveal he’s going vegetarian anytime soon, but he did admit he had to consider it because of Maggie’s influence.
“I’m an Irish-Catholic guy who eats way too much meat, but these ads made me want to become vegetarian,” O’Brien said.
Lady Gaga should take herself and her meat dress home right now. Kim Feenstra, Holland’s Next Top Model, has shown there’s no better way to look great than to wear your soy on your sleeve.
Sheryl Crow has partnered with animal-friendly and producer of a variety of vegan personal care products Tom’s of Maine for her tour throughout the month of May.
Tom’s of Maine is promoting their vegan Simply White Toothpaste made with natural silicas, an alternative to harsh chemicals that whiten teeth.
