Look, it’s a naked man. No, it’s a PETA ad. No, it’s a prostate and testicular cancer prevention ad.

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is posing in UK Cosmo nude in order to bring attention to prostate and testicular cancer and remind men to check for signs and symptoms. The photo shoot, on behalf of the organization Everyman, UK’s prostate and testicular cancer campaign, isn’t something unnatural for Levine, as he claims he’s always naked.

“I often have to be told by the people around me that it’s inappropriate to be as naked as I am,” Levine revealed. “But I live in California, where it’s always warm, so why not.”

Paul McCartney is getting the thumbs up from top Hindu leaders in India for his proposal of implementing a vegetarian holiday in the nation.

Statesman Rajan Zed of the Universal Society of Hinduism, told WENN, “We, as Hindus, promote strict vegetarianism insisting on not harming living creatures and renouncing animal slaughter and meat eating.”

Jewish reggae star Matisyahu went vegan after reading Jonathan Safran Foer‘s Eating Animals. Did this mean he found a whole new set of restrictions to follow that made keeping kosher more difficult? Actually, it was the exact opposite, especially considering he longer has to worry about eating kosher meat.

“My diet consists of quinoa, miso, almond milk, kashi cereal, flax seed oil, oatmeal, veggies, fruit, juice, veggie burgers, etc. I guess the thing I was really into on the last tour was quinoa with flax seed oil and tamari,” Matisyahu said.

Richard H. Schwartz, Ph.D. at JewishVeg discussed the various benefits of being a vegan Jew, as it reduces the effort of eating kosher.

Cee Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley may soon be singing, “I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost that nasty habit of eating meat.”

Green told The Sun he’s looking to get in shape for the New Year and feels going vegetarian might help him achieve his goals.

“I think I’m gonna stop eating meat. Eating is probably my only vice. I love great food and I love to eat. So I’d like to see myself committed to that correction. I feel like that is the missing link. If I could get that one vice under control, there’s no telling what I could accomplish.”
