Martha Stewart has yet another version of a classic and popular vegetarian dish.

There are as many types of hummus as there are the number of times you’ve heard the response “salad” after asking the wait staff what vegetarian options are available.

In addition to numerous flavorings of the chickpea variety, hummus connesours have put twists on the traditional Middle Eastern dish, using other beans and vegetables.

Anthony Bourdain chatted with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer before giving his final appearance on his North American “Guts and Glory” tour.

Over the years the chef who once said vegetarians and vegans were a “persistent irritant” to any chef worth a damn has proved to be an ally to those of us who at least want to see less processed food and big farm meat.

Hey, even his wife became a vegan for a few days.

During his interview, Bourdain made a few (albeit still sarcastic) comments dennouncing several practices that suggest he could even join Ottavia for a vegan meal or two.

The hip hop star has done a Prince number and changed his name–not to some weird looking symbol but to another animal.

Snoop Lion has also decided it’s time to follow the path to spirituality more closely by giving up meat, a connection that’s harder for him to break than the dogg chasing the cat.

According to Hello Magazine, the seven month pregnant Duchess of Cambridge recently enjoyed an Indian vegetable dished prepared by Chan Shingadia and her husband Hash, who operate a spar shop in the UK when they’re not cooking.

Leilani Munter fans will soon cheer her on as she drives her VegNation race car meant to promote a vegetarian diet for better health for people, the planet and animals.

But it will take more than a pro-veg banner on a race car to convince fans to go meatless.

They eventually will have to taste a veggie burger, sausage link or faux deli slice themselves.

“Obviously I know I’m not going to turn the NASCAR community vegan by doing this car,” the 37-year-old Munter said.
