Jamie Oliver may have had a hard time getting the Los Angeles Unified School District to listen to him during his Food Revolution series, but at least LAUSD is listening to the needs of its vegetarian students.

This district is scheduled to vote today on a 50 million dollar, 5-year contract that will put more meatless items on the menu.

Bob Harper disappointed vegan fans recently when he admitted to Star Magazine he occasionally cheats on his what was presumed to be a vegan diet. After reading the entire Star story, some would agree that Bob the vegan is really a flexitarian who eats mostly plants.

And now, more evidence reveals Harper is slipping further away from the decision he claims saved his cholesterol levels from doom.

Lipton finally agreed to stop animal testing in an attempt to prove its product cured human health problems. Now another major tea company has been discovered to conduct similar tests that are not required by any regulatory authorities to prove the tea’s safety.
