Jamie Oliver‘s second season of Food Revolution premiers tonight at 8/7 C on ABC.

Here’s a little clip which focuses on the Los Angeles Unified School District’s decision to forbid Oliver from entering their schools and the surprising reactions from listeners to Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show. Parents of children in the school system call in to describe in every detail why Oliver should have been admitted.

This past weekend, the Food Network hosted its first ever breakfast making competition, which featured vegan donut baker Sara Beth Russert from Seattle’s Mighty-O donut bakery.

Russert won the challenge, beating out two other bakeries in a contest where bakers had to created donuts based on themes in two rounds of competition.

Jamie Oliver On “The Daily Show” With Jon Stewart (Video)

Jamie Oliver made an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart where he discussed the decision of the Los Angeles County Unified School District to lock him out of the school system when he requested access to the cafeterias to teach kids to eat healthier for the second season of Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.

Stewart joked, “It may be the only reality show not being shot in the L.A. school district.”

The Food Network has once again shown love to vegan chefs.

This Sunday, April 10th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT the network will host its first ever donut making competition, Food Network Challenge: Donut Champions, that will feature a vegan donut bakery in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, Mighty-O.

A recent Top Chef episode had the cheftestants making a meal with conesssion style food on a ferry during a trip to Ellis Island where they would learn about their own ancestry and make meals which reflected their heritage.
