Almost a year ago, Adele announced to the media she had embraced a vegetarian diet. She wasn’t too big on tofu though.

It’s a good bet she’s big on the fact that adhering to a plant-based diet can result in healthy and sustained weight loss though. Both the Set Fire to the Rain singer and her boyfriend have lost weight by eating everything but tofu.

Kate Bush "50 Words For Snow"

Kate Bush has posed for a series of photos to promote her latest album, 50 Words For Snow.

Although the singer appears to be draped in animal fur for the advertisements, Bush assured fans she wore nothing but artificial.

In a statement to the press, Bush said, “We have recently taken some photos and I just want to pre-empt any concerns there might be, as I’m sure most of you will feel the same way as I do about wearing real fur. All the fur in these photos is synthetic.”

Kesha is once again raising her voice for the animals.

The vegetarian and spokesperson for the Humane Society International has written a letter to the CEO of McDonald’s Corp., Jim Skinner, asking that he bring the fast food giant’s slaughter practices up to date.

Although restaurants in the U.K. and Europe have already implemented a chicken slaughter practice that involves slowly putting the birds to sleep, the U.S. still lags behind.
