Nicki Minaj Sports Meatless Chicken Necklace At Festival

It’s that time again when celebrities come out in public wearing their finest in meat attire.
Nicki Minaj sported a faux chicken necklace from Onch (the same company that manufactured a meat necklace after Lady Gaga made that trend famous) at the IHeart Radio Festival.
If you aren’t totally knocked off your feet from this piece of must have fashion, perhaps you should opt for Onch’s bacon necklace instead.
Or not.
“As an African American woman I am aware of certain black stereotypes such as ‘black people love chicken’…,” Minaj said, according to Gothamist. “While I’m positive eating the certain poultry couldn’t be that evil, is wearing a piece of chicken around your neck satire or ignorance?”
While wearing a plastic or rubber chicken around your neck may not indicate ignorance, Vegetarian Star isn’t too positive that consuming the real thing isn’t evil.
Most chickens consumed in the U.S. don’t live the life of a celebrity and are forced to live in crowded conditions, suffer painful health conditions from lack of exercise and don’t go into a Hall of Fame or receive a star on the Walk of Fame post mortem.
Be a real star and never get caught with anything other than a 100% animal-free piece of chicken.
