Sheryl Crow has partnered with animal-friendly and producer of a variety of vegan personal care products Tom’s of Maine for her tour throughout the month of May.

Tom’s of Maine is promoting their vegan Simply White Toothpaste made with natural silicas, an alternative to harsh chemicals that whiten teeth.

Take Time To Realize…puppies around the country really need  your help.

Puppy Mill Action Week is wrapping up and singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat has helped the Humane Society of the United States educate people on how important it is to not support mills through a series of recorded PSAs featuring her music.

Pet lovers were urged to take a different action every day during Action Week and for Friday, Caillat and the HSUS would like you to urge Congress to pass the PUPS Act.

Colbie Caillat has collaborated with the Humane Society of the United States to educate her fans about the uncomfortable conditions dogs endure in puppy mills, encouraging her fans to rescue and adopt instead of buy.

Caillat has recorded radio announcements that will be played this week, which happens to be Puppy Mill Action Week. The timing of the annoucements was meant to correspond during Mother’s Day weekend to remind people female dogs in mills have some of the worst Mother’s Days in the world because they are forced to reside in cramped cages, suffering physical and pyschological abuse.

Actually, it’s not bad at all. It’s very good, because many of Sheryl Crow‘s 125 recipes in her new cookbook, If It Makes You Healthy, are vegan friendly.
