Quincy Pondexter Memphis Grizzlies

You can never get enough photos of famous people and pets.

Memphis Grizzlies’ Quincy Pondexter can’t get enough of his husky Buckets and the two are so close he likes bringing him to the team’s practice sessions.

Pondexter posted a few photos to his Instagram account of he and his adorable four-legged friend.

Leilani Munter fans will soon cheer her on as she drives her VegNation race car meant to promote a vegetarian diet for better health for people, the planet and animals.

But it will take more than a pro-veg banner on a race car to convince fans to go meatless.

They eventually will have to taste a veggie burger, sausage link or faux deli slice themselves.

“Obviously I know I’m not going to turn the NASCAR community vegan by doing this car,” the 37-year-old Munter said.

Leilani Munter has an Earth Day interview with VegNews magazine, one of the three sponsors behind her new VegNation race car to promote plant-based eating among NASCAR fans and more.

Munter realizes that a job as professional race car driver isn’t the most environmentally friendly one.

But just as the world grows closer and closer to running motorized vehicles on eco-friendly fuel (even those that run at 200 mph), Munter continues to do her part by educating fans of the environment, leaving recycling bins at the track, and of course, adhering to a plant-based diet.

A vegan chili cheese dog will be available in addition to the already offered vegetarian frankfurters and veggie burger, all of which are produced by Field Roast.

In addition to the these vegan versions of traditional ballpark foods, there will be more gourmet dishes to choose from.
