Hannah Teter Honored At Vh1 “Do Something” Awards As Charitable Athlete

Hannah Teter struck a pose on stage during a speech at the recent 2010 Vh1 Do Something Awards, which are meant to highlight people making social change.
The vegetarian Olympic medalist was honored as a Do Something Athlete for her work with Doctors Without Borders, Children International and her own charity, Hannah’s Gold, which sells Vermont Maple Syrup to raise money for clean drinking water to people in Kenya.
The snowboarder who took the Silver medal at the Vancouver Olympic games has been vegetarian for a little over a year and enjoys smoothies and quinoa.
