Both can identify with the initials “UK.” Judd graduated from the University of Kentucky and Beckham was born in England. Beckham won’t eat meat, but makes it for her husband. Gossip blogs can be so cruel.

Bossip.com spied model Julie Henderson and Russell Simmons looking cozy and wrote up a post titled, “Digging For Gold,” implying that Henderson was looking for Simmons to be her sugar daddy.

Simmons wrote back and said:

“I read this morning your headline, “Digging for gold” with a picture of me and Julie Henderson saying that the picture was taken last week at some food event. This “digging for gold” photo was taken last night @ my apt. The event was a fundraiser for the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding…so you’re right we were digging for gold! The honoree was LL Cool J. The organization promotes religious and racial harmony. It is a deep investment of my time, passion and money. Currently, the main focus is Muslim/Jewish relations and we have 52 programs in America where imams speak in synagogues and rabbis speak in mosques We are also spreading this work all over the world. Please send your gold or donations to ffeu.org. Also, as for my “boney, boo” Julie Henderson, she is nobody’s gold digger…she is a quite independent supermodel. FYI. The microwave has come a long way. It’s hard to imagine anyone not using one.

But Robert Pattinson has a fairly new relationship with the microwave and the passion between the two is more steamy than removing the plastic film from the frozen dinner tray after it’s cooked.

Pattinson recently mentioned in an interview with GQ that he’s never owned a microwave until he moved to LA. Now that he’s got one, his desires are in overdrive and he’s always looking for new things to nuke.

PETA caught wind of this and are sending him their very own cookbook,  PETA’s Vegan College Cookbook: 275 Easy, Cheap, and Delicious Recipes to Keep You Vegan at School. 

The cookbook doesn’t officially come out until May. But here’s a lovely infomercial that’ll have you whipping out your credit card at 3:00 AM after watching the one for the Time Life 80s collection.

Now, Rob should have no problem finding something to pop in the box every night. With recipes like Fake Blondes, Pimp My Ramen Noodles, Butt Ugly Sticky Blonds, and Campus Streaker Sausage Dip, we expect Rob and the microwave to be going strong for a while.

Dimora disses Dennis diet…say it fast five times.

Dennis Kucinich attended a recent Democratic party fundraiser and dinner in Cayahoga County, Ohio where he became the target for a joke by County Commissioner and party chairman Jimmy Dimora.

When Dennis’ vegan food prepared for him at the dinner was brought up, Dimora advised him to “take it home with him” and joked, “I don’t want anyone getting sick from that.”

This isn’t the first time, Kucinich’s diet has been poked fun of. Ever heard of the tan moderate political party? They eat hummus, pasta, and other “tan” foods.

No hard feelings, as Kucinich still gave a speech which praised the local chairman.

Hunter Burgan, AFI bassist and Vegan Ambassador for MacBeth vegan shoes has posted Part 4 of a 7 part Q & A series where he answers questions submitted by readers of his blog, Tranquilmammoth.com.

One reader asked this hilarious and bizarre question:

Let’s say that I happen to own this awesome burrito factory where I serve vegan burritos only-every vegan burrito you can imagine. I also serve coffee there. Would you be my friend on those terms, even though you know absolutely nothing about me?

Hunter’s reply:
“Yeah, I would be a little bit suspicious. This seems like a trap. And I’m not going to just walk right into a trap…Vegan burritos, right?”

Hunter’s sissy played a big part in his decision to go veg. She had been vegetarian for six years before Hunter became one.

When we first heard about Ginnifer Goodwin picking up a take out order at Vegan Glory, we had no idea what was in the bag. Now, we’re getting some hints.

When asked by Blackbookmag.com where she liked to hang while in L.A., Goodwin replied:

“Oh, I’ll give you LA. My favorite restaurant is this little spot called Vegan Glory, in a strip mall on Beverly. They have the most phenomenal tacos. Are you a vegan? I am, and that’s where I get my taco fix. I recommend the faux beef tacos—absolutely!”

Okay, okay, we get it Ginnifer. You gotta have your vegan tacos or the set of Big Love gets really tense and ugly.

Wonder if she ever runs into Heather Mills and her singing child there?
