Kelly Osbourne Will Do Justin Bieber If Canada Seal Hunt Cancelled

Kelly Osbourne will do Justin Bieber if Canada stops clubbing seals.

Ahem, she will do an impression of Bieber’s performance, that is.

She was recently quoted as saying, “Canada, if you cancel the seal hunt, I will dress up like Justin Bieber and sing one of his songs on YouTube.”

The Humane Society of the United States reports that many Newfoundland sealers are willing to consider a federal buyout of the sealing industry that would compensate them for lost revenue and develop economic alternatives if the hunt is closed completely.

It would great if the other half of them would be so terrified of watching a continuous play video of a Justin Bieber lookalike, they’d immediately throw their clubs away.

Kelly Osbourne Turned Off Meat By “Food Inc.”

Written by Vegetarian Star on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 in Animal Issues, Food & Drink.

18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party - Arrivals

Kelly Osbourne isn’t currently a vegetarian, but she has considered the source of where her meat comes from and is trying to eat less of it.

In her weekly Closer column, Kelly says watching the film Food Inc. has made her disgusted by the way most meat is obtained.

“I’ve become increasingly aware of how disgusting the American meat industry can be – and it’s seriously put me off eating meat … I’ve heard that cows are fed through a hole in their stomach to make them get fatter quicker and I can’t believe some chicken producers inject them with water first so they’re heavier!”

Kelly’s got a good point. While many suppliers in places like Europe are sourcing meat more humanely, such as slaughtering with Controlled Atmosphere Killing, major American restaurants like McDonald’s have failed to make this switch.

“I don’t have a problem with people eating meat, but I am careful to only buy organic now,” Kelly added.

Kelly attended the launch of Sir Paul McCartney‘s Meat Free Monday campaign, so she is at least supportive of less meat in everyone’s, American or not, diet.

Kelly Osbourne Smells Like Vegetables

2nd Annual Golden Globes Party Saluting Young Hollywood - Arrivals

Kelly Osbourne is smelling like vegetables!

During a recent Tweet, she shared this lovely fact that may have been TMI:

“i smell like a vegetarian I am sweating the smell of vegetables! it keeps making me laugh!”

Is Kelly smelling great because she’s following the rules of the Meat-Free Monday camapaign she showed up to support months ago?

If you’re a veg, you already know you smell better than the carnivores, but here’s a little scientific evidence to back up your claim.

When researchers put several men on meat and non-meat diets for 2 weeks, the odors of the non-meat eaters were judged to be more attractive, more pleasant and less intense.

Guys headed for the clubs tonight might want to chow down on some celery.

It might just be your lucky vegetable.

Kelly Osbourne Terrible Diet Still Vegetarian?

Written by Vegetarian Star on Monday, September 14th, 2009 in Food & Drink, Reality TV.

GQ Men Of The Year Awards at The Royal Opera House in London, UK

Kelly Osbourne has recently admitted she’s not the best of eaters.

“I have a terrible diet,” Kelly said, according to showbizspy.com. “Last night, I was eating Domino’s pizza because I had nothing in my fridge and I just got in and I couldn’t be arsed to go to the grocery store.”

We’re wondering if Kelly kept the pepperoni off that pizza.

She’s publicly stated she was a vegetarian in the past, but was then alleged to be seen partaking in turkey during a Thanksgiving feast.

Kelly recently showed her support for Paul McCartney‘s Meat-Free Mondays campaign-aimed to get people to go vegetarian once a week- by attending the launch ceremony.

Kelly can be seen on this season’s Dancing With The Stars, and she credits the show for helping her lose weight.

“Dancing is something that I have always wanted to do and the plus side is that I will lose weight and get super-toned,” she said. “I’m looking forward to that bit.”

Heard any news about Kelly’s diet?

Think she snacked on hummus and pita during her Dancing breaks?
