Director Darren Aronofsky is set to be honored by the Humane Society of the United States for his decision to use computer generated images instead of live animals for the film Noah.
“To the Rescue! New York” takes place on November 21 and will be serving vegan fare just before the annual holiday that is so heavily meat-based, Thanksgiving.
“When I started working on ‘Noah,’ an early question was how to express the vastness and complexity of the animal kingdom on the big screen,” Aronofsky said.

A second cookbook devoted entirely to vegetarian eating is not bad for someone who would have never considered including even one plant-based recipe in his regular columns if his Guardian editor had not suggested it.
