Steve Jobs

Celebrity named entrees go together like vegan marshmellows, cocoa and grahams.

Twig & Barry‘s, a new restaurant in Bourbonnais, IL has named a vegetarian sandwich on its menu in memory of the Apple guru famous for living a plant-based lifestyle, Steve Jobs.

The Steve Jobs Veggie Sandwich includes cucumber, tomato, hummus, avocado, sprouts and yogurt-dill sauce on baked ciabatta.

Doesn’t sound like a bad deal, considering it will only set you back by $5.

Have no fear, the new iPhone 4S/Siri is capable of letting her know which restaurants in the LA area deliver tomato soup. And we’re tickled pink that one of them is incredibly vegan friendly.

Mark Zuckerberg

“Zuckerberg is known for taking on personal challenges, and he believes people “should take responsibility and be thankful for what they eat rather than trying to ignore where it came from.” Zuckerberg deserves credit for getting at least halfway through a mental lesson most people never bother to start. A new personal challenge could be for him to take this thought process to its logical conclusion, and to then act.”

“Zuckerberg is right. People don’t want to know the truth about the suffering and death that goes into their meat.”
